Packshed Operations

Forklift Driver

Safely and efficiently move fruit bins, pallets and packed products throughout the packshed.

  • Valid forklift licence required
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
  • Strong safety awareness

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts in packshed and loading areas.
  • Move fruit bins, pallets and packed products.
  • Assist with loading, unloading and dispatch.
  • Complete equipment and safety checks.

Requirements

  • Valid Australian forklift licence.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability during the cherry harvest season.

Cold Storage

Coolroom Operator

Manage fruit movement, storage and stock rotation within our temperature-controlled facilities.

  • Coolroom or warehouse experience preferred
  • Accurate inventory and temperature records
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and store fruit and packed products.
  • Maintain correct stock rotation and temperature records.
  • Prepare pallets and products for dispatch.
  • Keep coolroom areas clean and organised.

Requirements

  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A forklift licence is an advantage.

Production Line

Fruit Tipping Operator

Safely load fruit onto the packing line and support the efficient flow of packshed production.

  • Walkie stacker experience required
  • Physically fit and safety focused
  • Previous packshed experience preferred

Key responsibilities

  • Move fruit bins to the production line.
  • Safely load and tip fruit into the packing system.
  • Operate an electric walkie stacker or walk-behind forklift.
  • Monitor fruit flow and report production issues.

Requirements

  • Experience using an electric walkie stacker.
  • Capable of manual handling and repetitive work.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Quality Assurance

Quality Control Officer

Monitor fruit and packing quality to ensure customer, production and export standards are achieved.

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Fresh-produce experience preferred
  • Accurate reporting and communication

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect fruit size, colour, firmness and overall quality.
  • Monitor grading, packing and presentation standards.
  • Check finished products against customer specifications.
  • Record, report and communicate quality issues.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene is preferred.
